Autism Spectrum Disorder Worsen with Age

Autism does not change or worsen with age. Autism isn't like a new pair of sneakers that has to be broken in, since no matter what you've read, the idea that you'll wake up one day no longer autistic is, was, or ever will be accurate.

It's fair to say that things get a little hard for people of our culture regarding children's early years. Early research has revealed that after the age of eighteen months (and in some cases even later), an infant's milestones may decrease, or communication ability may decline, valid for 77 percent of autistic children.

I want to add that, regardless of where you were born or where you lie on the spectrum, autism improves through time. For the most part, general autism knowledge and recognition appear to be increasing, improving all aspects of autistic existence. We're not out of the woods yet, as evidenced by a breakdown in some populations.

While early autism diagnosis appears to be crucial for getting the correct treatment and therapy in place as soon as possible, B.A.M.E families (Black, Asian, Mixed, or Ethnic) seem to have even less of this ability. This can be shown in that white autistic children are more likely to find a concrete coping plan by maturity, even though autism symptoms differ less by ethnicity.

Similarly, low-income households have been shown to expand slower than upper and middle-income households, demonstrating that therapy is most readily available to those with the deepest pockets in some locations.
